This trip has been wonderful. Akaya is playing spectacularly. I don't know if it's possible to be more proud of him. He has grown so much as a player. His win yesterday was a bit closer than I would have liked, but he still did very well. I still think he needs a bit more work on his forehand, but I haven't said anything to his coach even though I very much want to.

Besides tennis, I met someone. His name is Adrian and he's at the tournament because he was invited by a friend. He's from southern France. Toulouse, specifically. It's obviously just a short thing due to the tournament being over Sunday, but my gods, he's gorgeous.

If it becomes a regular thing, then I'll probably switch back to the arrangement when I was playing.

Shiraishi would take care of them for me. Since I'd likely ask him to live in the apartment while I was gone.
