This trip has been wonderful. Akaya is playing spectacularly. I don't know if it's possible to be more proud of him. He has grown so much as a player. His win yesterday was a bit closer than I would have liked, but he still did very well. I still think he needs a bit more work on his forehand, but I haven't said anything to his coach even though I very much want to.

Besides tennis, I met someone. His name is Adrian and he's at the tournament because he was invited by a friend. He's from southern France. Toulouse, specifically. It's obviously just a short thing due to the tournament being over Sunday, but my gods, he's gorgeous.

I think it's maybe to do with how people look, smell and what I associate them with. Somehow they get all mushed together and turn into food in my head ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I have a particular set of skills that would be extremely irrelevant in that situation. I would be Famke Janssen, the divorced wife, who would blame Liam Neeson for everything while at the same time begging for help and crying desperately

I get it. I'd like to try a lemon lavender cupcake now though. Maybe I should put on a play, like in junior high, but an on-stage production of Taken. You can be Famke, Sanada can be Liam. I can figure out the rest later.

Jackal is the frenchman, since he is the only foreigner, Yanagi is the guy who helps Liam Neeson, Niou is all the bad guys at the same time and Yagy can be my useless new husband. Perfect~
