I got the all clear from both doctors and my physical therapist, so in 8 days I'll be in Brisbane. Two days after that, I'll be playing. I'm excited to start a new season. Also, I'm so over training. I want to play in some real matches.

Since Mina is out of classes during the tournament, her and my mom are coming along. Neither have seen me play live in Australia, so I think they'll enjoy it. Unfortunately, my dad couldn't come due to stupid work commitments.

Australian souvenirs, anyone?

Thank you! It's nice to spend time at my parent's house. It means I get to take care of those plants too.

It's a small tournament, so I don't mind too much. I'm trying to convince him to take time off for the French Open. He seems pretty open to the idea, so I just have to keep trying.

Never the rest for the caretakers. :) I'm glad to hear that. We're going to have an interesting experience with An bringing her boyfriend home for the first time as her boyfriend.

If he were to request it now, I don't see how that could be a problem. Perhaps he can take articles and say, see, this is my son, and I'd like to watch him play tennis.

I'm pretty certain I couldn't scare him even if I tried. We did do naked handstands in the ocean together. Rightfully so in your case, however.
