Mika managed to drag me out of the art studio Saturday afternoon to go to a movie. Well, less a movie and more a viewing of the English National Ballet's "Giselle," choreographed by Akram Khan. It was beautiful and moving. I spent most of Sunday sketching out what I could remember. It's coming back the first week of December, so I might see it again just so I can sit in the back and draw some more.

It's just a little over a month until the Brisbane International tournament. There's this thrum of excitement about playing an entire season again. I know I shouldn't get ahead of myself. One tournament at a time. As much as I'd like to get enough points to qualify for the ATP Finals, I can't push too hard. Even if I wanted to, I have a few people who wouldn't let me. ★~(◠‿◕✿)

I trust Renji to make sure you listen to your body during tournament season. An injury ~~or relapse~~ early in the season is the last thing you want.

I should hope so, as I'm going to an art school. ☚(ﾟヮﾟ☚) I like watercolors best, but not the best material to use in a dark-ish theater.

That should say a lot considering how fast you move.

No speed, no life. (´ ε ` ) But it does. I feel like I can barely make it to campus and back every day, can't imagine trying to throw travelling on top of all of that.

Yes! They are so useful for traveling. I save my good brushes for the studio.

Once you get used to it, not so bad, but it did take a few months to get into a good rhythm.

I've also seen those really cool water ink based markers that kinda look like watercolors. They also blend really nicely from what I've seen~

I haven't looked into those, but I imagine they'd take up a lot of space with all the colors I need to use.

I have not heard that ballet before, so I looked it up. It looks very romantic. Maybe I'll check it out when it's in town.

It's definitely better to think of it in terms of one tournament at a time, but the excitement is palpable. We'll be cheering you on for another successful season.

I took the Federer approach and only played the tournaments I wanted. That won't work in the upcoming season, but I'll try something similar. Thank you!

I didn't know they showed those type of showings at the movies, I don't think I've actually seen an entire ballet performance but it sounds like its quite lovely.
