I finally finished up preparing all my plants and flowers for the upcoming winter. It took a bit longer than I anticipated due to not having a lot of time in between training and spending extra time in the studio on my sculpture projects, but everything's ready for the colder weather.

I've also made some preliminary decisions regarding my first few tournaments next year. I think I'll start in Brisbane, do the Australian, then take a few weeks off before heading to Marseille for the Open 13 Provence. Of course, everything hinges on a couple of doctor's appointments and how I'm feeling around the time I would need to register for the draws.

You must feel accomplished to have gotten that done. To me it always feels like a weight has been lifted off my chest when I'm able to finally finish something that has been weighing on me.

How cold is it chipping away at all that? It's looking quite nice.

It took lots of trial and error before I got a good rhythm and didn't lose as many plants. Some aren't going to make no matter what I've done, but that's okay. Just means I get to buy more. :p

I wear some protective gear so I don't get too cold. It's not too bad. Plus once you're in the zone, you kind of forget about the temperature.
