Shiraishi and I went to the Poison Garden before Wimbledon started which was quite interesting. It gave me some ideas on plants I would like to grow at home. It'll be something to research on the way home. Though, I might need to look at getting a bigger place at this rate. One with room for a large garden or greenhouse and then a good sized room with ventilation for art. Even better if I could have a clay court in the backyard... I guess that's something else to look at.
My sister sent some pictures so I could make sure my flowers and plants were doing well in my absence. I'm a bit upset though as one of my flowers blossomed while I wasn't there. I told Mika to carefully clip that one to give to our mom. Of course, I provided instructions to make sure it stayed alive for at least a couple of weeks.Mostly because I want to see it in person.

The quarterfinals are tomorrow. I feel good, but who knows how it will go? I've been surprised by a few of the early round losses.

Halfway between then?
Exactly. It's something to consider. Maybe when I retire for good I'll build.

Possibly.
I suppose it will give you something to focus on once you retire.

I'll still have gardening and art to focus on. :)

I never doubted you'd still enjoy those passions. Perhaps you can turn your art into your next career. I would be very pleased to display some of your art in my future home.

You don't want to display any now? Hmph.

I have nowhere safe to display them. Perhaps when I get an apartment. You know I love your art
even if I don't always understand itno subject
Whenever you get one... I think I have the perfect piece. You'll enjoy it.

Really? One more reason to find a place.

Mmhmm. It's appropriate for you.

Oh?

I'm not going to tell you. You just have to trust me.

... Fine.
Not even a hint?
no subject
No hints. That'll ruin the surprise.

My sister-in-law is quite lovely. That, I'll agree with.

I'm sure you would quickly set right any man who would think they could make you a 'side piece'

Obviously. Though, I wouldn't allow myself to get into that situation. That's why I have Renji check first.
